Client testimonial from YELP I highly recommend TruAdditions for anyone looking to convert their "vaulted ceiling" into usable floor space. We started thinking about converting our high ceilings into a "loft" earlier this year. After doing my research and getting multiple bids, in the end we selected TruAdditions due to their comprehensive proposal, attention to detail, accessibility and very competitive pricing. We first met Chris (Project Consultant/estimator) in June when he came out for a free estimate. He asked a lot of questions to make sure he understood our vision before he gave us some design ideas and recommendations to ensure the scope of work would truly be "turn key." He then submitted a very detailed and complete proposal, with options, and after a couple discussions we decided to move forward with TruAdditions. Upon signing the contract they took care of everything, e.g. filing for City Permits, preparing 3D renderings, completing a structural engineering assessment, etc. Prior to the project start date we met Rene the "Loft Builder Extraordinaire" ... he was AMAZING all the way throughout the project (more on that later). He gathered his core team (Alejandro, Carlos and Yong Yay) and they showed up bright and early for "Day 1." I was blown away by how fast the team was, while being precise and mindful of the rest of our home. After Day 1, they had already hung plastic sheeting with zippers, floor covers, etc. and starting the demo work ... all in one day. Day 2 was just as efficient and we could already see the project take shape. Every day they showed up bright and early, worked all day (e.g. 8am until 5 or 6pm) and cleaned up before they left. The project took about 5 weeks which included a lot of add-ons, such as new crown molding, baseboards, coffered ceiling, a new 3/4 bathroom (with all new plumbing), new loft doors, Media-room wiring, AC venting, 2 new windows, etc. The project started on time and ended on time, and the completed loft matched our vision exactly. Kudos to TruAdditions for doing such a great job! Special thanks to Alejandro, Carlos and Yong Yay for the hard work on getting things built out. Kudos to Chris, Lorena and the office staff for making the administrative and scheduling aspects easy. And (best for last), many thanks to Rene the brains of the operation. It is very evident he has been building lofts for many years; his attention to detail is second to none and he was always in communication with me to make sure we were happy with the progress and the results of their work. Rene is the consummate professional and was not satisfied until we were completely satisfied, no matter how small the detail. He was more concerned about doing it "right" than nickel-and-diming us for little things after-the-fact. I would strongly recommend TruAdditions for anyone looking to build out a loft or related home addition project. I would be happy to act as a reference for them to further share our positive experience! |
